Dr. Syamala Reddy Dental College Hospital and Research centre was established in June 1991, by SGR Technical and Educational Society, which was established in 1985 by its founder Prof. Dr.S.G.Reddy to cater the needs of higher education to needy students.

Spread over 7 acres of verdant landscape owned wholly by SGR Technical and Educational Society, Dr. Syamala Reddy Dental College Hospital and Research is situated on an independent campus with the infrastructure befitting a modern, well-established academic cum medical institution.

The College is spread across two functional blocks that house the administration department, laboratories, classrooms, a library, hospital, and a separate block for anatomical studies and practical.

The College boasts prolific academic results at university level with pass percentage of 85% and above. Highly respectable, qualified faculty members, who guide students through the course both academically as well as serving as memorable mentors.

College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, Bangalore.

Annual in take of students is 40 per annum.
